Refunds & Cancellation
ConveyPrep Ltd provides a fixed-price preparation service.

Your right to cancel

If you are a consumer, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you usually have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase.

How to cancel

To cancel, email hello@conveyprep.co.uk with:

• your name
• the property address
• the words: “I want to cancel”

Starting work immediately

If you ask us to start work within the 14-day cancellation period, you acknowledge that:

• we may begin preparing your file straight away; and
• if you cancel after we’ve started, you may be charged for work completed up to the time you cancel.

We will ask you to confirm this before we begin work.

Refunds

• If no work has started: you will receive a full refund.
• If work has started but is not complete: we will refund the amount paid minus a reasonable pro-rata charge reflecting the work completed.
• If the service has been completed and delivered: refunds are not normally available where you asked us to start immediately and the service has been fully performed, unless required by law.

Refunds (where due) are processed to the original payment method.

If the property transaction does not proceed

ConveyPrep is a pre-conveyancing preparation service. If a property transaction does not proceed, fees paid to ConveyPrep relate to preparation work already carried out and/or delivered.

Refund timing

Where a refund is due, we will process it within 14 days of confirming your cancellation and any applicable charge.
